Dr. Nikita Katoozi received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington Seattle, with a B.A. in Business & Entrepreneurship in 2013. She received her Masters of Education in Visual Function and Learning from Pacific University and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in May 2018.
She has volunteered with Special Olympics, Lions Club Run/Walk for Sight and with NGO PATH in Pune, India educating pregnant women about maternal healthcare. She was selected Student of the Year in 2016 by the Optometric Physicians of Washington and was the winner of the “Optometrists Change Lives” Writing Competition, and was published in the Optometry and Visual Performance Journal in 2017. She has performed research and been published on subjects from reading dysfunction to medical pharmacology to myopia studies.
Dr. Katoozi has a special interest and significant training in pediatrics, vision therapy, and neuro-rehabilitation.
